A New Nature and a New Life

"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." 2Cor.5.17

The above Scripture is not a preposition or a deal rather is it just a promise but it is an assurance of a new beginning. It said "if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature.." glory. Apostle Paul was trying to enlighten the church of Corinthians about their new personality and nature after giving their life to Christ, our opening verse says "...he is a new creature.." a new born a new person everything about him is new no old record just like a new born baby, the Concept of been born again.

Now understand this, many of us don't know what happened when we give our life to Christ, get this; your past is not been forgetten or repaired! Like many of us do make this mistake, "when I was in the world" no that's a wrong statement why? because you are born again!! Now you must understand the concept of been born again, it not just about say Jesus the lord of my life and all your sins are forgiven then you are given a fresh start, No it more that! There is a spiritual significant of been born again.

 Now the concept of been born again talks about a new birth of a man! To be given birth to again spiritually because our last or past spiritual life has been corrupt and virused so it was killed so that's a new one can be birthed, That was what our opening scripture was trying to show us! It says "...old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." Many of us are only looking at the contextual meaning of this statement! He didn't say your sins are washed away or repaired or removed! No he said that's spirit man with that sins died! And a new one was birthed in you and was born, no wonder the bible call them babes because there were just newly born into the world, "

he is a new creature: ...." He didn't say a repaired one or a washed one no! It said a new one, So that individual that once steal, lie, fornicate, lust, has done abortion is no longer your name! The bearer of those names has died with Christ on the cross... This one is a new personality, a new creature with a new nature. A new life and a new Creature.

Understand this mystery tonight, you thinking about the past saying I was once like this, Is a wrong statement because that was the last spirit that lived in that body that was killed in baptism and a new one was birthed so you aren't like before no! You are a new personality in Christ... Bringing up the past or saying you were like that in the past is confessing what your new life is not to it! And remember Romans 10:10 says ".....and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." So whatever you say comes alive in your new life that why Apostle Paul was very conscious with this he said " he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." You are brand new, a born again, a new birth with no former existence in sin. That's life was taken away and a new one was given. Hallelujah.

Your life is no longer that of sin no for he says in Galatians 2:20 "I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me." You are no longer a sinner that was your old nature! Quit saying lord have mercy on me am a sinner! That's very wrong it is a slap on God's face because he has brought you from sin! Understand this tonight, you are not longer a sinner but a son and Sons don't sin they make mistakes! As a born again (son) righteous is your new nature Because that is the very nature of God, he is sin free and righteousness filled! Glory. He has given you a new nature and a new life, one that doesn't end and it is eternal  Because he lives in you and you are righteous. As a born again Christian righteousness is your default settings and sin is a virus to that settings. Dont let the devil fool you, Many of us the devil is still killing us with his mentality of a man was born in sin but get this that is the nature of the unbelievers that why they are into all manner of sinful act because that is their nature! Yours is different!! You are born into God's own nature the righteousness nature. Hallelujah
